Welcome to In the Moment! We’re a NSFW illustrated anthology featuring 17 different ships, including M/M, F/M, and F/F. Our writer-artist teams are working hard to bring you a heap of Explicit collaborations. We’re digital-only to allow our contributors enough room to do each ship justice – and to make sure you’re getting your fix, too.All of In the Moment’s fics take place in modern AUs, to make full use of the benefits technology has to offer (and because it’s just what we like).We’re a group of friends who wanted to provide the kind of content we wanted to see – and we hope you enjoy the end result as much as we do. 💦

I DON'T UNDERSTAND, WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
We’re just a group of friends who wanted to come together and do a ‘zine’ – a fan magazine. We wanted to do a project that had all the kinds of stuff in it that we don’t normally get to see – lots of writers who have generous word counts, lots of NSFW content, and a mix of popular ships and rarepairs across all kinds of genders. We also wanted artists and writers to have the opportunity to collaborate in a way that tends to be somewhat limited in zines.ARE THERE GOING TO BE CONTRIBUTOR APPLICATIONS?
No, we are invite-only and all positions have been filled at this time. Since it is a project that started amongst friends and intended to be a fairly close-knit project, we decided invite-only was the way to go.WHAT KIND OF PAIRINGS WILL BE FEATURED IN THIS ZINE?
You can find the list of specific pairings on the contributors page (along with info on who’s writing and drawing them!). We have 3 M/F pairings (including one M/M/F), 9 M/M pairings, and 5 F/F pairings (including two F/F/F).HOW WILL I KNOW IF THE CONTENT HAS MY TOP/BOTTOM PREFERENCE? HOW CAN I AVOID SEEING CONTENT I DON’T WANT TO SEE IN THE PDF?
Our content will be clearly labelled, including relevant dynamics (including e.g ‘sub top’ or ‘power bottom’). The table of contents will be clickable, so you don’t have to even scroll past any content you don’t want to see. Specific kinks and sexual acts will also be clearly labelled at the start of each fic, if present.ARE THERE UNDERAGE CHARACTERS IN THIS ZINE?
All the characters featured in the zine are portrayed as 18+ and considered 18+ in canon by the contributors and the moderators of this project. There is no underage content in this zine. You can check the list of characters represented in the zine on the contributors page.DO I NEED TO PAY FOR THIS?
If you want access to the PDF – yes! We’ll be implementing it as a “pay what you want” with a minimum price. We are hoping to keep the zine as accessible as possible in terms of cost, especially to justify the work our contributors have put into it.Creators may make their work available sometime after the sales have concluded and the exclusivity period has ended, but this is at their own discretion. If you want to guarantee ongoing access, it’s best to pick up a copy.WHAT DO I GET WHEN I PAY FOR IT?
You get access to the full PDF. Individual work rights remain with the creators. You do not get permission to reupload the PDF or any of its contents anywhere else, or to share the PDF or its contents with anyone who did not purchase a copy.WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THIS ZINE?
This fanzine will feature 17 fanfictions by 11 different authors. Each author is granted a word count of 10,000 words, and writers who write two fanfictions will have to split this word count between their two works. Each fanfiction will be illustrated by at least one A4 page’s worth of content – some artists may opt to split that up into two A5 illustrations. They will be complete pieces, either in full colour or in greyscale, and some of them may be comic pages – that will be up to our contributors to decide.ARE THERE GOING TO BE PHYSICAL COPIES AVAILABLE?
At this point in time, we don’t think this is feasible. Printing in colour is already expensive, moreso when it’s A4 which we would want, to make sure the art is showcased at its best. Printing can get expensive quickly when there are lots of pages involved, and due to the high word counts for our writers, this does mean there’s a lot of pages just for writing.On the upside - printing does become much more reasonable when a certain minimum number of copies is reached. We’d be happy to look into printing physical copies if there is significant enough interest ahead of sales going live, and we do have shipping mod friends who would help us out with this – but we can’t guarantee that this will happen or even be feasible.
